IPN's Company History
IPN is one of Australia’s original founders of corporate general practice. IPN was established in 1999 as a small group of medical centres, then known as Foundation HealthCare. In 2002 the company was renamed Independent Practitioner Network Ltd. After a strong period of growth as an ASX listed company, which included the acquisition of Endeavour Healthcare and Gemini Medical Services, IPN was acquired by one of Australia's largest healthcare companies, Sonic HealthCare Ltd in 2008.
Today, IPN has the largest network of medical centres in Australia, and is the preferred corporate business partner of Australian GPs. IPN is also one of the largest employers of Healthcare professionals in Australia.
