IPN Learning
IPN recognises the integral role of staff in delivering outstanding service and business excellence. At IPN, we are committed to growing the people who grow the business. Individual professional development and organisational learning is key to improving our core capabilities. For this reason, IPN launched IPN Learning, our very own Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in February 2007.
The first of its kind in the Health Care Industry, IPN Learning is an internal training and development framework that facilitates the professional growth of IPN People in key workplace skills such as leadership, creative thinking and problem solving as well as specific general medical practice skills. So all IPN People have the opportunity to:
- Gain nationally recognised qualifications;
- Enhance professional development opportunities by learning from experts; and
- Secure greater career pathways and opportunities.
Qualifications
IPN People can achieve nationally accredited qualifications in Business from a scope which encompasses:

Professional Development
Our success rests with our people. So the professional development of IPN People is as important to IPN as it is to our Staff. As people progress through the business, learning needs change. IPN Learning aims to deliver experiences that develop our people both professionally and personally. It’s also a great way to recognise existing skills and knowledge within the organisation and provide an ongoing opportunity for Staff to grow with us.
Smith & Nephew
IPN are excited to have formed a partnership with Smith & Nephew, a global medical technology company with a focus on repairing and healing the human body. This provides IPN staff the opportunity to be educated and supported in wound management as well as casting and bandaging. As part of this new direction, IPN is encouraging staff to attend seminars offered by Smith & Nephew in 2009.
